Located just outside Kiserian, about an hour's drive from Nairobi, Osiligi is more than a working farm. It's a refuge. A place of healing, learning and transformation for young boys from challenging backgrounds.

A Place of Transformation

Here, boys join a two-year program grounded in discipleship, agriculture and education.

Through hands-on experience in regenerative farming, they learn to care for the land and animals, building responsibility and work ethic. In the classroom, they develop practical knowledge and life skills to prepare them for the future.

Each day is guided by faith, farm work and learning, shaping them into strong, purpose-driven young men.

A Day for Osiligi Boys

  • Morning devotions and prayer: The day begins centered on faith with quiet reflection and group prayer.
  • Hands-on farm work and animal care: Daily farming activities teach stewardship, discipline, and respect for creation.
  • Classroom learning and study: Academic lessons and life skills taught build confidence and prepare them for life beyond the farm.
  • Evening reflection and community time: Time for shared stories, gratitude, and spiritual bonding as a family.

  • Black Solders Fly (BSF) Farming: A zero waste solution that transforms organic waste into nutritious animal feed
  • Pumice Farming Method: Soil-less farming using pumice helps with water conservation
  • Seed Propagation & Nursery: Allows for efficient use of resources, such as water and space
  • Azolla Farming: Azolla farming is a sustainable practice that promotes the use of natural resources

Training & Life Skills

At Osiligi Farm, we believe transformation begins with practical tools and purposeful learning. Our boys go through a holistic two-year program designed to equip them with skills for life in farming and beyond

Our Goal

Our goal is to raise confident, capable young men who are ready to thrive in farms, families, churches and communities across Kenya

We prepare them to be stewards of both land and community.

Our training includes:

  • Agriculture: Hands-on lessons in vegetable farming, animal care, greenhouse, hydroponics systems and BSF
  • Computer Skills: Basic digital literacy, typing and essential software to prepare for today's tech-driven world
  • Hygiene & Personal Care: Daily routines that teach cleanliness, grooming, and respect for oneself and others
  • Spiritual Discipleship: Bible studies, worship and moral guidance help to build character and give a purpose. The boys also attend a local church on Sundays
  • Life Skills & Social Development: Communication, teamwork, time management and conflict resolution
  • Music, Sports & Recreation: A balanced lifestyle through boxing, football, basketball, music classes and fun evening programs
  • Academic Support: Especially to the boys with learning challenges
  • Counselling and Guidance
