Terms & Conditions
By booking a visit, attending our farm, or participating in any Osiligi Farm activity, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These guidelines ensure a safe, transparent, and enjoyable experience for every guest.
1. Introduction
Osiligi Farm is a registered project of Afrilift committed to offering high-quality farm experiences, training, and community impact programmes. By accessing our website, booking a visit, or joining our activities, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with outdoor environments and agree to participate at your own risk. All guests must follow the guidance of Osiligi Farm staff at all times.
2. Bookings & Reservations
2.1. All farm tours, educational visits, workshops, and team-building activities must be booked in advance through our official channels.
2.2. Bookings are confirmed once full payment or an agreed deposit has been received.
2.3. Group bookings must provide accurate numbers of attendees so we can prepare appropriately.
2.4. Osiligi Farm reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if false information is provided or payment remains incomplete. Refunds will be handled according to the Refund Policy below.
3. Payments
3.1. Payments can be made via our official M-Pesa Paybill, bank transfer, or other approved channels communicated directly by Osiligi Farm.
3.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required before the scheduled visit.
3.3. Pricing is transparent and any changes will be communicated clearly prior to booking.
4. Refund Policy
The Refund Policy below replaces all previous cancellation terms and applies to every tour, training session, workshop, event, or product purchased through official Osiligi Farm channels (website, phone, or in-person).
4.1. Full Refunds: Cancellations made seven (7) or more days before the scheduled visit qualify for a full refund of the booking amount.
4.2. Partial Refunds: Cancellations made between two (2) and six (6) days before the visit may receive a 50% refund.
4.3. No Refunds: Cancellations made less than forty-eight (48) hours before the visit, or any no-shows, are non-refundable.
4.4. Group Bookings: Changes in participant numbers must be communicated at least three (3) days prior to the visit. Later changes will not qualify for refunds.
4.5. Farm-Initiated Changes: If Osiligi Farm postpones or cancels due to extreme weather, emergencies, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund at our discretion. We are not liable for indirect costs such as travel or accommodation.
4.6. Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 working days via the original payment method. Confirmation is shared by email or SMS. Transaction or administrative fees may be deducted where applicable.
4.7. Non-Refundable Items: Entry tickets once scanned, partially attended tours or workshops, late arrivals, early departures, gift vouchers, and promotional discounts are strictly non-refundable.
5. Safety, Injury & Risk Acknowledgment
5.1. Visitors enter Osiligi Farm at their own risk. While we uphold high safety and hygiene standards, outdoor environments and animal interactions carry inherent risks, including slips, falls, bites, stings, or allergic reactions.
5.2. By visiting, guests agree to follow all safety instructions, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and comply with signage and staff directives. Failure to do so may lead to removal without refund.
5.3. Osiligi Farm, its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for injuries, loss, or death arising from participation in farm activities except where prohibited by law.
6. Injury & Incident Response
6.1. Our trained team provides immediate first aid support for minor injuries or medical incidents that occur on-site.
6.2. Serious incidents are escalated to local emergency services. Guests authorise Osiligi Farm staff to seek appropriate medical assistance on their behalf.
6.3. Visitors must promptly report any injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions to staff so that we can respond and document the incident appropriately.
7. Visitor Guidelines & Care
7.1. Children must be accompanied and supervised by responsible adults at all times.
7.2. Visitors should respect livestock, crops, facilities, and the wider farm environment.
7.3. We continuously invest in maintaining a safe, clean, and educational space for all guests and appreciate your cooperation.
8. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their belongings. Osiligi Farm is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, vehicles, or valuables brought onto the premises. We will make reasonable efforts to help locate lost items, though recovery is not guaranteed.
9. Indemnity & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osiligi Farm’s total liability for any claim relating to your visit will not exceed the amount paid for your booking or entry. Visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Osiligi Farm, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, or expenses arising from their own negligence, conduct, or breach of these Terms.
10. Force Majeure
Osiligi Farm shall not be liable for failure to meet its obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, power failures, or government directives.
11. Photography & Media
11.1. We may capture photos or videos during activities for documentation and promotional purposes.
11.2. Guests who prefer not to appear in media must notify staff upon arrival and complete the consent opt-out form.
12. Privacy
12.1. Personal information collected for bookings or communication is used solely for official purposes and handled according to our Privacy Policy.
12.2. We do not share personal data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Parties will first seek amicable resolution of any disputes. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be submitted to mediation before considering further legal action.
14. Amendments
14.1. Osiligi Farm may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately once posted on our website.
14.2. Continued use of our services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
